                   Chapters: 1,2,3, 4(Secs 4,1 & 4.2),5,6,7,9 (Secs 9.1 & 9.2), 12 (Sec 12.1-12.3), 13, 14 (Sec 14.3-14.4). Chapters 11 and 8 if  time permits.

GRADING SCHEME:

                 Assignments (four)                           20%

                 Mid Term (Feb 27th- class time)        30%

                 Final*                                             50%

* Students registered under Stat 501 will have 35% weight assigned to the Final and 15% weight for the project.

Both Mid and Final are closed book.
