We had a
lovely workshop at
Banff International Research
Station, in the heart of
Rocky Mountains in
Banff,
Alberta,
Canada.
From a fabulous collection of
participants,
we heard every day
many interesting talks;
some of them may be recalled through their
transparencies and other files.
We learned a lot in an interesting
round-table discussion, enjoyed a
song recital
brought by Roger right from Oxford, and despite neither too good nor
too bad
weather, a group of us managed in the free afternoon to get to the
slope of
Mount
Rundle, and
another one went to Lake
Louise and then to the
teahouse at Lake Agnes;
some youth
among the latter even went up to
Big Beehive.
Throughout the whole event, some other photos were taken by
Roger, Jackie,
Monika, and others.
The accomodation and
food at
Banff Centre
were excellent.
The workshop was organized by Roger Koenker and myself; while we are indebted to every single
